Since 1938, Van Boxtel Groep has thrived on overcoming construction and logistics challenges. The more complex a project, the more exciting it becomes for them. When the situation demands, they seamlessly integrate their diverse disciplines—earthworks, demolition, infrastructure, logistics, and transport. Collaborating closely with clients is in their DNA, making them the ideal partner for any construction or logistics challenge.
Van Boxtel Groep’s diverse service offerings are aptly compared to a Swiss Army knife, reflecting their versatility and adaptability. Their planners utilize the TALIS Transport Management System from TANS, allowing them to customize and executeevery order within the agreed timelines. To ensure drivers receive all relevant details about orders and services, they’ve implemented the DeliveryApp,developed by partner Aventeon. This mobile solution facilitates the registration of hours worked and activities performed.
With the support of TANS and Aventeon’s software, Van Boxtel Groep benefits from efficient planning, paperless communication, and complete visibility into project timelines. However, a challenge arose with our ‘direction trips,’ where personnel and materials are provided without pre-planned activities. In thesec ases, drivers learn about their tasks directly from the client, which limits the input in the TALIS TMS to just the start and end addresses.
To enhance service and gain better insights, Van Boxtel Groep requested the capability to record work done under direction similarly to planned tasks. Aventeon responded by developing the ‘Stop Assist’ functionality. This feature enables drivers to initiate activities from any location, with the Aventeon software automatically calculating the address based on GPS coordinates. Depending on the activity, drivers can complete questionnaires, record arrival and departure times, monitor current events in TALIS TMS, and generate PDFs containing relevant information, including photos, for clients and Van Boxtel Groep.
Fueled by their commitment to overcoming challenges, the collaboration between Van Boxtel Groep, TANS, and Aventeon has resulted in a comprehensive solution that:
